Description

IRC-VET gel is a dietary supplement based on Quercetin, Transresveratrol, artichoke extract, Omega 3, folic acid, aluminum hydroxide, vitamins B6 and B12, potassium, which acts as a kidney protector, anti-inflammatory and helps against chronic kidney failure in dogs and cats . Oxidative stress causes kidney damage, pathophysiology and progression of chronic renal failure.

Quercetin, a flavonoid with strong oxidative effects, reduces the inflammatory response and prevents apoptosis of the mesangliales cells, thus protecting the nephrons, the basic units of the kidneys. Trans-resveratrol is a polyphenol of the stilbene group acting as a renal protector, reducing glomerulosclerosis and reducing proteinuria and systolic blood pressure by increasing vasodilation caused by nitrogen oxide. Folic acid and vitamins B6 and B12 are cofactors to help with vitamin deficiency anemia and hyperhomocysteinemia, a risk factor for cardiovascular mortality. Aluminum hydroxide acts as an intestinal phosphorus binder, thereby reducing hyperphosphataemia and secondary hyperparathyroidism. This improves kidney function and prevents its mineralization, inflammation and fibrosis. Artichoke extract protects the liver and digestive system Stimulates appetite, is antiemetic and gallbladder. The benefit of Omega3 fatty acid lies in the defense of the kidneys and reduces the level of cholesterol in the plasma. Together with potassium, it helps regulate its levels in the body, which is especially important in cats.

Mix with a normal diet. The animal must have permanent access to water. In addition to medical criteria, use for a maximum of 6 months.
