The active ingredient of ProBoost® is Thymic Protein A (TPA), a glycoprotein naturally produced by the thymus and responsible for programming T-lymphocytes in the body to direct and specifically stimulate the immune system's response. Transferring the production part of the thymic epithelium to tissue culture in the form of clones of secretory cells made it possible to obtain a complete natural intact protein, which has a dramatically higher effect on immune stimulation than products separated directly from animal thymuses or isolated separately from compatible structural proteins of the thymic epithelium. Each of the 12 trillion TPA molecules in a single ProBoost® package is an important transmitter that seeks out an immature white blood cell T lymphocyte (thymocyte), binds to it and provides it with a differentiation signal for maturation into a fully functional CD4+ lymphocyte. The helper CD4+ lymphocyte controls the most important effector cells, including cytotoxic CD8+ cells and CD8+Treg suppressor cells, by secreting chemical messengers such as cytokines (eg interleukin-2 and interferon γ...). When the body has a sufficient amount of properly functioning CD4+ cells, an adequate amount of cytokines is produced so that the entire system can function properly.
