Description

It is suitable for use as protection against bacterial, viral, fungal and parasitic diseases, in case of increased load, stressful situations, repeated administration of antibiotics, after surgical procedures or as a preparation for the overall improvement of the vitality of an older animal.

Its application in antibiotic treatments is advantageous. It increases the intensity of the immune response, thereby shortening the onset of specific antibody production after vaccination. Its systemic and local application helps to rapidly accelerate wound healing, improve surgical wound healing and eliminate secondary infections after surgery.

• Effects: Plerasan ® V syrup contains the active substance beta- (1,3 / 1,6) -D-glucan, which significantly stimulates the body's natural immune response. It has an immunomodulatory effect, strengthens the animals' own immune mechanisms and defenses against infections. It activates important cells of the immune system, especially macrophages (absorbers of foreign substances), neutrophilic white blood cells and NK-cells (natural killer cells). Macrophages play a crucial role in initiating and maintaining the immune response, which results in the destruction of unwanted microorganisms and the body of foreign substances (bacteria, viruses, mutated cells), which often cause serious diseases. The effect of beta-glucan PLEURAN has been verified by veterinary medicine to increase protection against many bacterial, viral, fungal and parasitic diseases.
• Use: Plerasan ® V syrup is recommended to increase the protection of animals against bacterial, viral, fungal and parasitic diseases. It helps to normalize the reduced immunity to repeated administration of antibiotics, has a supportive effect in the treatment of oncological diseases, strengthens vitality in older animals, accelerates the treatment time, shortens and alleviates the course of the disease. The use of Plerasan V syrup is also suitable for the prevention of diseases after weaning animals, for convalescence and for improving their overall physical condition.

Dosage:

• dog and cat: 2 ml per 5 kg body weight; at a weight of 1 to 5 kg, the daily fixed dose is 2 ml once a day
• sheep and pigs: 1 ml per 5 kg body weight once a day
• horse and cattle: 1ml per 10kg weight once a day

To strengthen the immune system, it is recommended to use Plerasan ® V syrup for a long time (minimum 2-3 months). The daily dose can be doubled for the onset of infections and weakening of the body's defenses. The increased daily dose should be taken for at least 3 days.

Method of administration: Administer the syrup with the enclosed dispenser or syringe into food, water, or inject directly into the animal's oral cavity.

The syrup must be shaken well before each use.

The active substances in PLERASAN ® V syrup are contained in amounts that can be considered safe even during long-term use. Exceeding the daily dose does not pose a health risk.

• Undesirable effects: From previous observations and clinical studies, no side effects of beta- (1,3 / 1,6) -D-glucan, compared to placebo, on animals have been observed. Plerasan V is contraindicated in immunosuppressed animals.
